Let's start the second part of my visit with the hotel:
it was a charming place with many pictures hanging everywhere!
It was tasteful furnitured
and had relaxing soft colours.
After a quiet sleeping, the second day I was ready to keep on my sightseeing...
But leaning out of the window I realized that, unluckily, the weather was not as
good as the previous day ...
and when it started snowing, I decided to wear also my hat !
But the bad weather couldn't ruin the stunning beauty of the city!
And I kept on walking and admiring and loving everything around.
In the hotel I rested and finally ... could take off my high heel boots!!
( and then it came the third, long, day ... )
Sorry it rained and snowed, but it sounds like you still had a nice time! Great boots!
ReplyDeleteAs I had listened the weather forecast before leaving, I had a huge umbrella with me!!
DeleteOh how lovely. As always you are looking quite chic.
ReplyDeleteOh, dear! Thanks, you have done my day Connie!!
DeleteThe hotel looks like a cozy and elegant place! And the city is simply charming, no matter what weather is outside. Pretty boots but to go sightseeing wearing such heels? Oh my!
ReplyDeleteYes, it was a delightful place! My husband wanted to spend very special days in Verona and booked a room in that charming hotel ...
DeleteAbout high heels: you must never forget to be a bit fashionable in a romantic holiday!! :-)
Thank you for the tour...loved it and would love to see it! Sounds wonderful.
ReplyDeleteBlogging is a nice way to visit new places, isn't it?
DeleteI am sure that you would love Verona !
What a cozy looking hotel! Grillo looks like he is settling in well as your travel companion.
ReplyDeleteNot only the hotel was cozy, but they also served fabulous breakfasts!!
DeleteThe hotel looks nice and cozy, and Verona is a city of great charm, despite the bad weather. I like your look, so simple and elegant. The color is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Josep...
DeleteGorgeous! You look lovely dear!
ReplyDelete...and you are very kind, thank you!
DeleteNot a word about the lovely new tunic (or jumper?). You will have to give me some details. Love the fact that Grillo is dressed in red, just like your umbrella haha.
ReplyDeleteAmazing that you still look stylish in such weather. If it had been me, you would have seen a sort of Darth Vader haha. Totally covered up. And certainly not on high heels. Love the necklace with your tunic.

PS yes Verona is a beautiful city. I will admit that. Although I am still very pro Turin.
... and your being pro Turin makes me very happy!! I feel a special love for the city and always spend perfect days there...
DeleteIn Verona I was wearing a long wollen sweater by Les Copains which I had just bought and a pair of trousers by Marella ( do you remember the shop in the center of Turin?). I I was wearing what I call ... a casual outfit with high heels (as usual ) to add a touch of femininity.... :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful Verona, how precious your hotel and how beautiful you are !
I love photos.
Want to escape there
A thousand Kisses
I am sure that you would enjoy Verona! There are so many interesting places there, and every first Sunday of the month .... you can visit museums paying only 1 euro!
DeleteVerona even on a rainy day is a beautiful town and your hotel is so nice and comfortable. It must be a pleasure to stay there.
ReplyDeleteYou look gorgeous with your hat and your lovely coat. Seems the weather can not harm you.

DeleteGlad the unkind weather didn't stop your sightseeing in Verona, what a beautiful place to visit. Your hotel looks like a very pleasant place to stay. Wonderful high heeled boots, I so admire your ability to explore in heels.
