A silk scarf

Hermes

A silk scarf! That is  the sign that ( for me ) spring is arrived! I have stored the winter wool ones and do hope I won't have to take them back until next year!

Calzedonia-Geox

And, talking about accessories, I have just taken out of my closet a pair of light weight socks.

Coccinelle

... my cream colour bag ...

Calvin klein-dan-Max Mara

...sunglasses, a light blue necklace (I have made it to match my outfit), and a pastel colour jacket...

Ready to be photographed!

I always feel a little anxious in front of the camera...

...also because my husband , who sometimes snaps for the blog, has the habit to take extra photos when I don't see ( which I regularly delete ). I always say that a lady can be photographed by surprise, just until midday...

...when the make up is still O.K.!!

  2. Spring! There is such a light and upward movement to your outfit today, it really does say spring! You always look relaxed and elegant in your photos, your anxiety doesn't show Dan. And heavens, I have so many photos that get deleted!

    1. We are having very mild days recently, so it seems we are already in spring!
Well, to tell the truth, I am not so relaxed when I go out to take photos...you can never know about what the result will be! (It's surprising to see how bad some photos can be!!)

  3. Dan, the pictures in the evening, when the sun is falling, favor more, not draw shadows or wrinkles that you have. As important as the time is light. At least, so says Julian
You are very pretty and have made a great selection.
I always dreamed of having a carreau Hermès, but I decided never to pay the high price. Yours is wonderful.
It is perfect with your jacket, well cut and sewn better, and with the fabulous pants.
I was delighted to see so spring.

    1. Thanks, Curra!
Julian is a great photographes, so his words are precious! I think I should change my saying this way: a lady can just be photographed in the evening!!

I have two carreau which I received as a present, and I know they are very expensive...but I have been wearing them for so many years now...

  4. Something you did that back out the driver asked to write a number to prove you're not a robot.
If you walk into blogger and you click on settings in the posts and comments section, allows you to remove the word verifier just say no.
It's a bit annoying, having to decipher just numbers that are to publish the comment.
    Sorry to be so heavy

  6. Springtime.... Yeah.. You make it look as if it has already arrived. In The Netherlands the temperatures are high as well, but the days still start with 2 to 5 degrees Celcius, which is pretty cold. So although we are happy and wearing more springtime clothes, we are convinced March and April will surprise us with some bad weather. As usual you look very chic, very Italian (huge compliment). I love your outfit. Every inch a lady. I can sum up every item, they are all beautiful, the trousers, the jacket, the bag, the scarf, the necklace (good one again), the glasses.

    2. I read it haha. Thank you for the compliments. I suppose I do have a rubber soul and I like laughing. But I can get very angry as well when something happens which I consider an injustice (and that happens often, especially at the office LOL).
As for "italian being synonymous to elegant, that is not just my opinion. Everybody in the world thinks that.

  7. So pretty in pastels : ) Every element in the outfit is classic and elegant.

Enjoy your lovely weather. Yesterday we had a blizzard that brought high winds and 2 feet of new snow. Yep...it isn't Spring here at all.

    bisous

  8. Yes, there is much difference in degrees between morning and midday in this period of the year also here...but I coudn't wait to wear light colour clothes! Probably it isn't going to last...and very soon will arrive clouds and rain...you know how can be rainy here! :-) so I have very little time to enjoy my spring clothes! ( I have always the feeling I must to hurry up and enjoy every single moment in life...)
I find it amusing to combine colours and fabrics in my outfits, and ...have I ever told you are a very positive and special person ??

    P.s.
I have never considered the fact to look very Italian... what a lucky you consider it a compliment! :-) (many thanks for that!)

  9. Ah spring glorious! Pretty light blue jacket and cute with your hip sunglasses. I like the picture with you walking. I've been trying to do some walking pictures too, they are hard for me. Annette does them beautifully. Love the tights and bag! Your husband is doing a good job on the pictures, you look happy and relaxed!

  10. Hurrah for the return of silk scarf weather!!! We're inching closer to it ourselves, having had our first couple of days that hit above +10C this week. Such a massively welcome change after the brutal winter weather that continued on here until just last week. Not quite spring yet, but sooner than ever and I couldn't be happier about that fact.

I really like your elegant ensemble here, sweet Dan. That necklace is gorgeous! I make my own jewelry sometimes, too, so I must admit to always hoping you'll share some of your own creations in each new post you put up, so that I can delight in seeing your skillful handiwork.

Scores of hugs & happy weekend wishes,
    ♥ Jessica
